Summer Hydration Tips - week 3

Staying hydrated during the Florida summer is about more than just drinking plain water. Hydration also comes from the foods and minerals we consume throughout the day.

💧 Start your morning with a glass of water before coffee.

🍉 Eat water-rich foods such as watermelon, strawberries, cucumbers, celery, oranges, and lettuce.

🧂 Don't forget your electrolytes. Minerals like sodium, potassium, and magnesium help your body retain and use fluids effectively.

🥗 Include plenty of fruits and vegetables throughout the day to naturally boost hydration.

🚶 Carry a water bottle with you, especially when spending time outdoors.

Proper hydration supports energy levels, digestion, recovery from exercise, and overall health—especially during our Florida summers.
